Associate / Associate Partner – Professional Services

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Surveyor to join our Automotive and Roadside department in Manchester. This is a truly exciting time to join the business as we undertake our new growth and development plans. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a mixture of office and home working.

Job Purpose

Our Professional Services team acts for a range of both landlord and tenant clients in the negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears. We also undertake red book and non-red book valuations as required but the teams primary focus is Landlord and Tenant work.

The successful candidate will service existing clients but will also be expected to generate new business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears
• Acting as Expert Witness at rent reviews and lease renewal disputes
• Undertaking red book and non-red book valuations as required
• Building relationships with existing clients and targeting new clients / instructions
• Attending meetings with clients and the lease advisory team
• Detailed report writing

Person specification

• MRICS Qualified
• Several years’ experience of negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals
• Registered Valuer
• High degree of IT literacy
• Self-motivated and can work autonomously.
•  Driven with a can-do attitude.
•  Ambitious and career focused.
