Role:Senior Communications Executive

Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Communications Executive to join the Marketing department, working from our central London office.

This is a new role due to an internal restructure and increased efforts to reinforce the business’ communications and brand positioning. Having identified the need to strengthen our internal and external communications, the Senior Communication Executive will be required to hit the ground running. You will be adept in organic and paid social media and have proficient written skills to create punchy content.

The candidate will be responsible for actively communicating our values Proactive, Connected and Creative – ensuring our clients receive local intelligence knowledge at a Partner level across the UK.

Having identified the need to strengthen our internal and external communications, the Senior Communication Executive will be required to hit the ground running. You will be adept in organic and paid social media and have proficient written skills to create punchy content.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal English. Able to produce copy to publication standards
  • Manage the business’ social media pages
  • Implement and executive social media campaigns (organic & paid)
  • Experience running digital campaigns
  • Effectively communicate with department heads to diarise social media content
  • Maintain a social media schedule
  • Be aware of social media trends and come up with ways to improve
  • Be responsible for writing or proof-reading press releases, newsletters, award submissions and general marketing collateral
  • Work with the marketing team to grow business development
  • Reporting on campaigns and ROI.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in organic & paid social media (LinkedIn and Twitter) and using Hootsuite or similar
  • Proficient in Adobe Create Suite and all Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience of WordPress or similar website software
  • Experience using MailChimp
  • At least 5 years of experience in a communications role (or similar)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team player with the ability to cover a variety of tasks whilst prioritising workload
  • Previous experience in a Property/Construction communications role is desirable but not essential.
