Vivienne joined Rapleys in November 2018 as an associate in the London planning team, bringing over 7 years of planning consultancy experience with her. Previously working at a number of multi-disciplinary and planning consultancies in London her experience ranges across many sectors, including residential, office, retail and mixed-use proposals. Vivienne’s experience has had a regional focus as well focusing on development schemes within London and the South East.
Previous project experience ranges from large urban regeneration schemes involving complex planning strategies; including parameter-based, hybrid applications, town centre residentially led mixed-use development schemes through to smaller schemes, including conversions and changes of use. Vivienne has worked for a range of clients including developers, Registered Providers and high net worth individuals. She has advised on and managed a range of schemes with direct and indirect heritage implications and has secured consent for a wider range of developments affecting listed buildings and conservation areas.
Vivienne has significant experience managing the planning application process from initial design inception, through the pre-application process to final determination. She attributes the success of a project to building relationships with officers and stakeholders from the outset and being able to deliver collaborative solutions to technical and practical issues.
Vivienne graduated from the University of Westminster with a Masters in Town Planning and from University College London with a Post Graduate Diploma in infrastructure Planning, Appraisal and Delivery. Vivienne is a fully chartered Member of the RTPI.
