Matthew Butler

Matthew joined Rapleys as a Senior Building Surveyor in September 2021, having worked in the residential, office, commercial, education and rail sectors.

Matthew’s expertise lies in project and contract work as follows;

• Office: Fit out works / refurbishment
• Commercial: Preparation of schedules of condition and dilapidations
• Residential: Preparation of planned preventative maintenance schedules, delivery of reactive maintenance, Project Management, Contract Administrator duties, Principal Designer, defect diagnosis, surveys
• Education: PPM/ Condition Surveys, Contract administrator for various refurbishment projects including internal refurbishment, roofing works, window replacements.

Working for the Building Consultancy team, Matthew will predominantly be focusing on clients such as Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation and The Howard Group.
