Rapleys hires national Head of Project Management & Cost Consultancy as it continues its growth mission
14th May 2024
Strategic property consultancy Rapleys has hired Phillip Ankers as Partner and National Head of Project Management & Cost Consultancy within its Building Consultancy Division as the business ramps up its growth strategy.
Phillip joins from Pulse Consult and will be based in the Bristol office. He brings with him over 16 years of experience working for Aecom, JLL and Deloitte Real Estate.
At Rapleys, Phillip will be responsible for leading and growing the Project Management & Cost Consultancy service nationally as part of Building Consultancy – one of the business’s four core divisions. This appointment follows the growth of the London and Birmingham Building Consultancy teams, the launch of a new team in Cambridge and a hugely successful 12 months for the division, and for Rapleys as a whole.
Phillip said: “Rapleys has gone from strength to strength in the Building Consultancy arena and I’ve watched it become more high profile, attracting talent from across the UK and delivering exemplary services to clients. I’m really excited to be part of the team and add my skills to the mix, while also working alongside other experts and teams.”
Justin Tuckwell, Managing Partner at Rapleys, said: “We are thrilled to bring Phillip in to lead Project Management & Cost Consultancy nationally – he brings with him huge experience from his previous firms and a great network. We will continue to grow Building Consultancy both in terms of the range of services and skills we offer clients, and in our national coverage with more hires on the horizon.”
Rapleys Building Consultancy team was recently appointed on to two public sector frameworks by Pagabo and to the Healthy Homes framework by CHIC, and hired a Building Consultancy Partner to lead a new team in Cambridge, while it also grew its Building Consultancy team based in Birmingham.
