Alexander Fitzgerald

Alex joined Rapleys’ Building Consultancy Group as a Graduate Surveyor in 2024, bringing with him experience from the charity sector. He has managed listed buildings and has a strong interest in the preservation and conservation of heritage properties.

Alex graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2021 and went on to work in the charity sector. He then went on to complete a master’s degree in Building Surveying at Kingston University. Since joining Rapleys, he has been involved in a wide range of projects and professional report writing. This has included refurbishment projects to schools, commercial units and domestic properties. His professional reports have included reinstatement cost assessments, dilapidations surveys and negotiations, and planned preventative maintenance surveys.

He is currently working towards his APC, with Building Surveying as his chosen pathway.
