Andrew joined Rapleys in 2026 as an Associate Partner within the Neighbourly Matters team, specialising in Rights to Light and Daylight & Sunlight consultancy. He advises clients across the public and private sectors on projects ranging from individual residential developments to complex, large-scale regeneration schemes.

Andrew is known for his pragmatic, client-focused approach, helping developers identify and manage Rights to Light and daylight constraints from the earliest stages of a project through to delivery. His experience includes strategic feasibility appraisals, planning support, technical assessments and Rights to Light negotiations, enabling clients to make informed decisions, mitigate risk and maximise development potential. Equally, he is committed to safeguarding the interests of neighbouring owners, providing balanced advice that seeks practical and proportionate outcomes for all parties.

His project portfolio includes major urban regeneration schemes, local authority developments, commercial extensions and heritage assets, where he has successfully applied advanced modelling techniques and technical analysis to resolve complex challenges. Whether supporting site acquisitions, planning applications or negotiated settlements, Andrew combines sound technical knowledge with commercial awareness to deliver clear, effective advice tailored to each project’s objectives.
