Mike Orr

Mike joined Rapleys in August 2022 as an Equity Partner, having been the founding Director of CSJ Planning Consultants Ltd in 1995.

Mike has a broad experience of working within local government, a large property and financial institution and private practice. He specialises in strategic planning, heritage, design and regeneration fields, often accommodating positive changes within sensitive settings.

Mike brings a deep understanding of residential development, viability issues, brownfield regeneration, urban design and housing land supply. He advises clients, including SMEs, commercial property developers, housebuilders, local authorities and education institutions, through the planning application and appeals process, scoping reports, viability appraisals and development matters generally. The focus is frequently on central area regeneration and therefore heritage issues.
