Graduate Surveyor – Commercial

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate surveyor, to join our Commercial team in our London office for intake in September 2027. As part of your graduate programme (year one) we offer a great opportunity to work within other divisions such as our Residential, Planning, and Building Surveying. We offer a broad range of experience which will support the successful candidate to achieve MRICS surveyor status.

Our Commercial Teams act for a variety of national, local and regional occupiers, tenants and landlords on all property matters across the entire UK via our network of offices. We provide a comprehensive range of professional, agency and valuation services and have an unrivalled track record of servicing large scale portfolios for key organisations within the sector as well as smaller companies and individuals with single assets.

During your first year, you’ll undertake a series of rotations lasting two months across 3 different divisions providing valuable insight into the wider property industry and helping you build a strong foundation for your APC professional qualification. Whether you’re working towards MRICS or MRTPI status, you’ll gain practical experience, work alongside industry experts and contribute to real client projects from day one.

Your role will include:

• Client Meetings: Attending client meetings alongside colleagues
• Property Viewings & Enquiries: Handle regular commercial property enquiries and accompany prospective tenants or buyers on viewings.
• Market Research & Analysis: Research, track, and analyse transactional evidence, market trends, and occupier requirements.
• Valuations: Assist senior team members in preparing property valuations (automotive & roadside, office, retail, or industrial assets) following RICS Red Book guidelines.
• Landlord & Tenant Management: Support negotiations for new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, and day-to-day client management.
• Client Reporting: Help compile detailed inspection reports, marketing material, and client communication updates.

As a graduate no two days are the same. You may find yourself attending client meetings, undertaking site inspections, supporting planning applications and appeals, assisting with lease renewals or valuations, producing reports or collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines.

We have a well-developed support network in place for all APC candidates. This successful graduate will enter this supportive framework to help support gain their qualification. Your development is our priority. Throughout the programme you’ll receive dedicated support from experienced professionals, including an APC Supervisor and Counsellor or equivalent professional mentors, depending on your pathway.
