John joined Rapleys in August 2022, following the union between Rapleys LLP and CSJ Planning Consultants Ltd., and currently holds the position of Associate in the Bristol Planning Team.
John has overseen a variety of urban projects, including inner city student and residential development, brownfield regeneration, built heritage applications, permitted development roof extensions and various retail developments. John also has considerable rural planning experience, including waterways development, wind turbines, agricultural buildings, stables, dwellings in the countryside and Green Belt, and development within AONBs, as well as strategic land release.
John offers clients a high-quality service from project inception through to the determination of planning applications and the discharge of planning conditions. He helps clients manage risk throughout the planning process and, ultimately, delivers consents to assist clients in achieving their objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
