Will Maby

Will joined Rapleys in 2018 as a Partner in the Residential Development Consultancy team, which he now heads. He joined from GL Hearn where he worked for over 8 years in the Affordable Housing and Viability team.

Will is a Registered Valuer who specialises in providing valuation advice for residential and mixed-use developments, with a particular emphasis on the valuation of affordable housing. Will also provides agency and consultancy advice in relation to affordable housing.

He has provided valuation advice to many large developing Registered Providers including Clarion, L&Q, MTVH and Sovereign Network Group. Will also provides valuation advice to a number of developers and housebuilders including Taylor Wimpey and Vistry. Will provides advice on a range of matters including Red Book valuations to support site acquisitions, disposals, Right to Buy, leasehold enfranchisement, portfolio valuations and feasibility studies. He also provides asset management advice to Registered Providers.

Will also acts in an agency role for developers to secure a Registered Provider for Section 106 ‘package deals’ as well as other ‘package deals’ and development site sales. Additionally, Will provides agency advice to Registered Providers for acquisition purposes.

Will is able to offer clients strategic valuation advice in connection with the redevelopment of their sites, including appropriate affordable housing strategies in order to maximise both land and resale values.
