Andrew joined the Manchester Town Planning Team in January 2025 as a Planner.

He brings with him a strong background in residential and agricultural planning across the North West

Prior to joining the team, Andrew worked at a rural planning consultancy where he advised on rural economic diversification, change of use applications, and matters relating to the permitted development order. His project experience includes a wide range of schemes, from anaerobic digestion plants to business parks.

Andrew also has significant experience delivering residential developments in the Green Belt and open countryside, including large-scale proposals, replacement dwellings, and barn conversions for landowners and farmers seeking to diversify.

His expertise covers the assessment of both residential and commercial schemes, negotiating Section 106 legal agreements, and providing clear, practical planning advice to independent farmers and homeowners.
With this background, Andrew is well-versed in managing complex planning projects within the Green Belt and Open Countryside, supporting applications from inception through to securing planning permission.
