Harriet Beesley

Harriet joined Rapleys in May 2023 as a Senior Surveyor in the Cost Consultancy & Project Management team. She brings with her a strong understanding of the construction industry having gained experience from her previous quantity surveying roles with Lysander and Gleave Partnership.

During her time at Rapleys, Harriet has worked across a diverse range of sectors including residential, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure, delivering services to clients at all stages of development.

Harriet has acted on a diverse range of instructions including as: post-construction cost manager on a self-build development of a 390,000 sq ft distribution centre in Zaragoza (estimated contract value £86M); pre construction cost manager for a Cardiff Park & Ride development comprising multiple industrial units, drive-thru’s, retail units, complete with new infrastructure including a highways bridge; and as lead cost manager for EV parking projects UK-wide, comprising both grade and deck level parking.

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Employers Agent, Harriet has developed expertise in cost planning, tender management, contract administration, and project delivery across all the sectors she operates in. She brings a proactive and detail-oriented approach to cost management, ensuring budgets are realistic from the outset and rigorously controlled throughout. Harriet offers clients the reassurance of experienced, professional oversight in developing accurate initial budgets, and the security of carefully managed costs and commercial risks through to project completion.

She is actively working towards achieving MRICS accreditation
