We now have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Manager in our Central Division. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a mixture of office and home working.

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Manager in our Central Division who will be working alongside the Credit Controller and will be responsible for the management and coordination of all credit control activities.

Duties include:

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts
  • Ensuring all terms of engagement documentation is in place
  • Ensuring timely payment of debts
  • Monthly reporting
  • Managing of aged debt
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Collaboration with Senior Management regarding all Credit Control matters
  • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
  • Escalation as necessary to legal proceedings, e.g. debt recovery, CCJ or lawyers etc

Person Specification:

  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional level of accuracy and numeracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a credit controller role
  • Proficient in accounting and office software
