The project
We acted on behalf of Lithia Motors Group UK Limited to carry out a market valuation on the acquisition of the Hatfield portfolio which included 8 properties in the following towns and cities:
- Shrewsbury
- Hessle
- Hull
- Pickering
- Liverpool
Our solution
Lithia had agreed provisional terms for the acquisition of the Hatfields business which included the freehold interest in various properties across all eight sites.
Rapleys were instructed to provide pre acquisition due diligence to include formal valuations on each of the freehold sites and rental advice on the leasehold premises.
At relatively short notice we Inspected and measured every dealership assessing its suitability for ongoing use. We valued each on a Market Value and Market Rent basis against comparable dealership and roadside evidence across the UK.
We also provided building surveys on each site with a detailed assessment of repairing issues and rectification measures.
