The project
Rapleys was commissioned in September 2023 to undertake a 100% stock condition survey of Stockport Homes residential portfolio of 12,000 homes by March 2025.
The objective of the stock condition survey was to consider the future of the housing stock to identify the best means to meet and maintain the properties at, as a minimum, the current and future Decent Homes Standard for at least the next 30 years.
Following mobilisation, Rapleys deployed a survey team to site in November 2023 and successfully completed surveys to over 80% of the properties by June 2025. Stockport Homes manage a significant number of medium- and high-rise buildings and Rapleys have undertaken compliance-led surveys across those properties. Rapleys provided notification of HHSRS findings throughout the project enabling Stockport Homes to undertake required remedial works rapidly.
All surveys were completed using Rapleys bespoke stock condition surveys database. Rapleys have provided populated CX (Keystone) datasheets to Stockport Homes, enabling seamless and direct migration of all survey data and photographic schedules.
In addition to the stock condition survey, Rapleys have assisted our client with a review of estate regeneration financial assessments and benchmarking of their schedules of rates.
