Rapleys was appointed by The Arch Company to undertake a refurbishment of this unit in order to bring it to a lettable state.
Our solution
We inspected the property to provide a Technical Appraisal of the key works which would need to be undertaken, before proceeding to full design. With a full design, building control services were engaged and construction began. Due to the site being on a TfL red route, providing a three phase electrical supply and removing the existing single phase took a significant amount of time and cost, however the end product is a well-equipped prime commercial space at the heart of Balham, just meters from the station.
