Andrew graduated in 2003 after completing a work placement at Stoke-on-Trent City Council then moved to Rider Levett Bucknall where he completed a project management role, conducting portfolio risk assessments and maintenance surveys along with managing store refresh works at a number of Tesco stores across the trading portfolio.
Andrew joined Rapleys Building Consultancy Group in 2005 and has extensive experience in commercial building surveys, due diligence and transactional advice. Andrew’s area of expertise is within the healthcare and retail sectors where he has specialised in project management of large programmes of repair, refurbishment and fit out works ensuring projects are completed on budget and to schedule, dealing with planning applications and advising on property legislation, building regulations and party wall matters.
Andrew’s expertise in the preparation of Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules and Condition Surveys including analysis and implementation of the works has lead to obtaining a Domestic Energy Assessment qualification and managing a team of surveyors to conduct stock condition and energy efficiency surveys of residential housing portfolios and is involved with the subsequent financial business plan modelling, viability and sustainability assessments.
