David Johnson

David joined Rapleys as an Associate Partner in the Automotive & Roadside team in August 2023, based in the Birmingham office.

Prior to joining Rapleys David spent 15 years as Property Director for Listers Group (the UK’s 12th largest dealer group), managing a portfolio of over 1m sq ft of real estate nationally. He was responsible for an internal and external multi-disciplinary team to deliver a planned and reactive maintenance service across the occupied estate, together with the refurbishment and redevelopment of the existing portfolio. He was also responsible for site finding, acquisitions and disposals, rent reviews, lease renewals, providing restructuring advice and negotiations, strategic asset management and general portfolio advice.

David’s client-side background allows him to understand the operational requirements of a business to help deliver a holistic property solution.
