The project
The University of West London has been investing in their Ealing Campus at St Mary’s Road and within the wider Town Centre. As part of this growth and investment, Rapleys advised on the purchase of two new buildings along the Uxbridge Road and subsequently obtained planning permission for change of use.
Rapleys also advised on the operations of the Sports Centre at St Mary’s Road and has obtained planning permission to expand the operational hours of the centre.
Additional work is ongoing with the University, with numerous advertisement consent applications, and the installation of new condenser units across the campus to support ongoing internal refurbishments and expansion.
Our solution
Rapleys advised on the purchase of two new office buildings and the potential to convert into educational use. As part of this we successfully:
- Obtained planning permission for the change of use of two buildings from office to educational use
- Advised on the existing operations of the University Sports Centre and obtained planning permission to expand the operational hours.
- Continue to advise on the ongoing refurbishment and expansion of the campus, obtaining numerous permissions for new signage and new condenser units across the campus.
