The project

Hallsville Quarter is a large new development as part of the wider regeneration of Canning Town.

Our client, Baltic Medical Centre, has taken a lease on a new-build unit in a shell and core condition and has appointed Rapleys Building Consultancy Group to advise regarding fit-out of their latest state of the art medical centre.

Our solution

Rapleys Building Consultancy Group has provided the following services:

  • Space planning, design and specification
  • Tender process, value engineering and contractor selection
  • Contract administration
  • Principal designer
  • Planning advice
  • License for alternation advice

With limited gross internal square footage available, we achieved for the client an ergonomic and well-proportioned state of the art medical centre complete with medical gases installed to every single consulting and treatment room throughout. A lift installation provides step-free and full access to all areas of this two-storey property within a top quality new development in the heart of the Docklands of London. Care had to be taken at every step to ensure patient confidentiality was never compromised and to ensure all surfaces, fixtures and fittings are suitable for stringent medical centre purposes.
