The church and church hall sit next to each other. The church had fallen into disrepair over twenty years to such an extent that hundreds of pigeons lived in the church. The congregation were meeting in the hall. The decision was taken to sell the hall to start the funding towards the refurbishment of the church.
The hall was marketed and sold with competition from nursey providers, faith group and developers.
Refurbishment of the church has commenced with the roof, brickwork and windows refurbished. A new mezzanine floor has been installed.
In this ongoing project Rapleys have sold the church hall, provided cost advice regarding development and refurbishment of the church, provided a full building survey on the church in its dilapidated state, and providing cost advice to the client during refurbishment.
