The project
Rapleys was instructed to dispose of the property in light of an imminent relocation to purpose built facilities on the edge of Northampton. The key driver was to ensure that a disposal would happen as soon as possible following this relocation to minimise any void period.
We ensured that the property was put to the market in a timely manner to give as much time as possible to identify a prospective tenant on what we considered was a prime automotive opportunity. Following extensive interest we were able to agree terms for an assignment of the lease with no premium to Tesla.
