The project
The Residential Development Consultancy and Affordable Housing team at Rapleys have been providing valuation advice to Clarion Housing Group to support its acquisition of new homes from Vistry Partnerships in the new town of Sherford in Plymouth and have valued over 500 affordable homes.
The development will comprise in excess of 5,500 new homes together with a new primary school and secondary school, community hubs, sports pitches, a leisure centre, a shopping centre and a 500-acre country park. Clarion Housing Group has signed a development agreement with Vistry Partnerships to increase the number of affordable homes.
Our solution
We provided Clarion Housing Group with detailed valuation advice which included the following:
- Red Book valuation provided to support the acquisition of s106 and additionality from Vistry Partnerships
- Valuation advice has been required across multiple phases and tenures within the development.
- Our experience and knowledge of the area allowed us to provide accurate and market-driven valuation advice.
- Clarion Housing Group are working with the LLP Partnerships at Sherford to increase the number of affordable homes.
- We continue to provide update valuations to support on-going sales of the properties.
