The project
New-build development, providing 75nr apartments within an extra care facility and the third of three projects for Isle of White Council, as part of a wider residential strategy. A mixed tenure comprising affordable rent and shared ownership units, with a specification aimed at the later living and vulnerable demographic. On site amenities, including salon, 24hr reception, dining hall, assisted bathroom, landscaped gardens and communal lounge.
Project Management duties included stakeholder management, site inspections, quality control and client liaison.
Our solution
- Timber frame manufacturing stopped for 2-months during pandemic. Extension of time assessed and awarded.
- Despite numerous variations, final account was within £10k of maximum commitment under Development Agreement.
