The project
Fully retained on a multi disciplinary basis advising Sue Ryder on their portfolio of properties including lease renewals, regears, rent reviews, acquisition, disposals, building services and special projects
With over 400 stores throughout the UK, Sue Ryder has one of the largest retail property estates in the charity sector.
Our remit is to reduce rental liability and lease exposure enabling the estate to be more manageable and reactive to market changes.
From an acquisition perspective we are looking to implement new store roll out of stores with a focus on stand alone and out of town opportunities.
Our solution
On going delivery of results across the portfolio including:
- To date we have agreed over 60 rent reviews and lease renewals on Sue Ryder’s behalf securing their position on some of their more profitable stores.
- Acquisition of a 16-store former charity portfolio as part of an administration.
- In the past year we have acquired 6 larger format stores in strong locations and have a healthy pipeline of other opportunities.
